Chester wedding photographer – Sarah and Dave
A beautiful warm sunny day was all we needed for a perfect day, as Sarah and Dave had chosen a lovely location for their wedding party. As everything had been planned to be outdoors, a rain would had spoiled it a lot, but fortunately, the weather was on our side. I started the day at Sarah’s parents home, following her preparation, and then moved quickly to the Chester Town Hall to meet Dave and some of their relatives having a pint at the pub right at the corner across the town hall. As soon as Sarah showed up in that old camper van, I knew I had to add it to their photos. So I tried a photo through the side glass of the van, as it was parked outside waiting for them. It is the first of a series of photos I really like from their special day. Soon the wedding service started in the old town hall, and once it was over and everyone had a drink, we went outside for one big group photo (and some of the couple of course).
Right after, we moved to the venue, a beautiful private piece of land, owned by friends of the couple. Thanasis, the manager of “Feast Al Fresco” was taking care of the roast lambs and chicken and other delicacies and sweets, offered to the guests. Using only charcoal to roast the meat, the smell of roast was rising up in the air giving a festive atmosphere as cheerful guest were having a great time. And when it was time for the wedding breakfast, Dave could had never imagined that he would be getting a motorbike as a wedding gift from his wife Sarah. A speed triple Triumph… Such an amazing wedding, a perfect day and a lovely couple.
