Pre-wedding – Danielle and George
Liverpool wedding photography
With Danielle and George we met long time ago, and talked about their wedding and pre-wedding photos. We knew where the wedding would be, but not where to do the pre-wedding session. I find it of great importance, as it is a means of getting to know each other while taking photographs. In a way, it’s a rehearse of the big day, somewhere else. But where the difference really is, is the place – not how I work. A lovely example of such a session is what follows.
As months passed by since then, we thought of various places, but for this or that reason we couldn’t make it. We can blame the winter weather for that too. We finally arranged to meet at where Danielle suggested. Shot at Yarrow Valley Country Park near Preston, on a rainy day with soft white light and an amazing lake surrounded by big beautiful trees. George and Danielle quickly loosened up and enjoyed the walk in the park while I was taking mostly unposed photographs. While at their wedding most photos will be naturally unposed, there will be a few posed inevitably.
In between talks about everything and anything, I soon realised we had walked quite a distance and it was time to open those umbrellas and head back to the cars as the rain was getting stronger. We will soon meet again for their wedding – and I am looking forward to! Here are my favourites. Danielle and George got married at the Springfield House in Fleetwood.
