Springfield House wedding
Danielle and George
Springfield house wedding. We met at New Brighton, on a very windy day that nearly blew Starbuck’s door away. It soon became obvious that Danielle and George wanted me to be their wedding photographer at Springfield House, Pilling, near Preston Lancashire. First thing we did though, as usual, was to arrange where and when we would shoot the pre-wedding. Finally we decided to do the pre-wedding at Yarrow Valley Country Park, this is where George and Danielle wanted it.
The big day started early in the morning and found me driving on the motorway from the Wirral to Fleetwood, to capture Danielle and her bridesmaids having a morning coffee after the hairdresser – and before the make-up. Feeling I had covered all the important details of the bridal preparation, I left for Blackpool to visit George’s mother house. I found George checking on YouTube the fine details about how to wear a Scottish Kilt.
I drove to the venue to capture some of the decoration details, as well as meet with the registrar and wait for the bride to arrive. Having plenty of time ahead of me, I took some photos of Danielle by the window, and inspected the area around the building to find the best spots for photographs after the wedding.
The weather was lovely, bright and warm – summer warm to be precise. What followed, was a relaxed beautiful day with a beautiful romantic wedding, very tasty food and a lot of fun later in the evening. Here are some of my favourite photos of the day, please click on the photos to see them enlarged.
